So unfortunately the last few weeks I have not been physically able to complete any work due to illness.. On Saturday 20th September I began suffering from excruciating abdominal and lower back pain that became steadily worse until Tuesday 23rd in which it turned into constant vomiting.
On Wednesday morning (24.09.2014) I was admitted to hospital after consultation with my gp. I underwent an emergency surgery that afternoon due to the fact that my appendix had burst and I was in the process of having kidney failure. I then had complications with the anaesthetics and subsequently got even sicker.. Then to put icing on the cake, a week after I was finally discharged from hospital, I was diagnosed with shingles.
At this stage I am still recovering but I plan to come back to university on Monday to talk to Ant and Mercia to decide on where I should take my assignment from here..
